This is a well-rounded practice that is calming, yet invigorating, and a great way to center your being mid-week. This practice will include YIN style yoga with elements of Vinyasa (breath and movement), pranayama and meditation.
Practices will include active, shorter held poses to strengthen and tone muscles, improve circulation and flexibility, and increase stamina, with more passive, longer held poses to work more deeply on connective tissues (fascia, tendons and ligaments), and stimulate energy channels (meridians) to balance to the organ systems. We will also practice 'vinyasa' by intentionally connecting breath and movement to help steady the mind, emotions, and more. Philosophy and sutra also included. See you there!
