YIN Yoga & Meditation
Yin Yoga is a quiet and still practice, compared to more active vinyasa yoga. Poses work deeply on the connective tissues (fascia, tendons and ligaments), stimulates the meridians (energy channels), bringing balance to the organs in the body.
Benefits include relief of stress and anxiety, increased flexibility and joint mobility, calming and balancing for the mind/body, and help prepare the practitioner for a seated meditation practice. We will explore short sessions of seated meditation in this class, also. General buddhist and Traditional Chinese Medicine themes explored. Join us.
